A Meditation for Zest

Energy, enthusiasm, joy. Don’t we all want those things in our life? I’m certain the majority will answer yes. But sometimes life gets complicated and difficult and there is anything but a zest for life. Here is a quick meditation for you to tap into that zest that we all need from time to time. I encourage you to find a relaxed position for your body as you read through this. And remember to breathe.

Breathe in this new day.

You have been given a gift. Savor today. Savor the moments big and small.

Breathe in the energy of this new day. Feel your heart beating and the air filling up your lungs. Feel the temperature and textures around you.

Breathe.

Look.

Listen.

Enjoy.

Breathe in joy. Honor the place you are in now and allow peace to enter into your heart, mind and soul.

Breathe in love. Love for yourself, others, the Earth, and all things in it.

Appreciate the opportunity to live out one more day.
